It’s all about angles, perspectives, and timings in Gymnastics
We associate gymnastic routines with elegance, grace, and precision, especially those at the Olympic level; however, these Chinese professional gymnasts don’t seem to meet our expectations of gymnastics. This picture of Zhao Yating with her team during the Rhythmic Gymnastics appears like one of those optical illusions’ photos.
It might get difficult to identify her hands and legs at a glance and that she is headless, but if we focus, it will get clear. It’s just a matter of angles, perspectives, and timings.
Tough competition with the funniest faces
You have to be incredibly passionate if you wish to compete in women’s weightlifting competition at the Gold Coast Commonwealth Games. Every participant competing in that game is there to win and earn the title.
We have identified that every athlete has his/her facial expressions that they put on while performing. Regardless of how difficult that event is to execute, we know that the ones performing will certainly make some hilarious faces. That same thing happened with Andrea Ham from New Zealand, who got captured in her perfect moment.
In this picture of the US swimmer Bob Glover, it seems like he is defying the laws of gravity as he does his backstroke float above the pool’s water levels. From the picture, it is challenging to identify what is going on if the photographer has used some fish-eyed filter onto the athlete’s face or what.
Slow Motion Swimming
With this perfect picture clarity, it is so easy to imagine watching the air bubbles emerging from beneath the depths of the pool water, all ready to pop up any moment now in slow motion.
Is spider man for real?
In the Pole Vault qualification round happening in this picture, Derek Miles seems like he’s holding his breath to make over the pole to win this round, and you know what? He made it to the Olympics in Athens.
The funny thing about this picture is the way he is flipping, making him look like spiderman. Also, his spiderman outfit compliments his monkey jump.
But who knows? It might be possible he’s a real-life spiderman.
Can you figure out what’s going on here?
From just seeing the picture, it is pretty unclear what’s going on in the game; but whatever is happening, it is intense and potent. Can you guess it, though?
Are they practicing their tumbles or dodging away from the ball? Ok, let’s give you a hint, they are the athletes from Kazakhstan Karapetian and Fendrikova Tatyana.
It’s a picture captured from the Women’s Volleyball Preliminaries. The picture says they kind of missed that spike, but only the viewers know the real thing.
Weightlifting competitions are no joke; they are equally formidable as other sports. This picture depicts a great example of how complex it is to weight lift.
A Tunisian woman named Marwa Jlassi is lifting over 90 kilos (around 200 pounds) in this picture. This competition took place in 2017 at the Islamic Solidarity Games, where she picked up 90+ kgs. From her posture to her mighty facial expressions, it is clear that she is not playing low. The face in this picture is the face of a winner.
Watch out below
This picture is from a sport called Pole Vault. The fascinating thing about this game is that you must jump over the pole without touching it. While the judges and coaches were focused on noticing if the contestants comply with the rules, the photographer had something else in mind.
Ascending to the top is not a piece of cake, and when you try to do your best, your efforts come to your face. Similarly, such a thing happened with this Polish Gymnast, Kamila Przybyla. So this is her “watch out below” face.
Inspiring game face
We know that athletes’ faces are inspiring and powerful. Still, as we have seen, sometimes their facial expressions are entirely different from what we were expecting, precisely after completing the most demanding part of the game.
Here in this picture, Maggie Ewen might not look that inspiring, though; her eyes reflect power and enthusiasm for achievement.
Mathew Perry’s athletic moment
The person in this picture truly does not need an intro, and if you still are clueless, you should better watch Friends first. The series may have ended, but there will always be a silly Chandler part going to stay in our hearts. You can tell it by just looking at this picture. When Matty Perry is hitting the ball, it seems like he is trying to attempt some sort of hip-hop dance.
Whatever he is doing, the perfectly captured moment deserves a ten out of ten.
These are the few athletes captured at the perfect moment. Not just these incredibly enthusiastic athletes deserve a standing ovation but the creative people behind the lens capturing those moments are praiseworthy as well. Hats off to those fragile fingers which work tirelessly to capture such moments and provide us with some joyful stuff.
